Wesgar’s latest cutting-edge welding collaborative robotic unit, TruArc Weld 1000, is now fully operational in the company’s 100,000 square foot facility in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. This unit will further enhance Wesgar’s ability to respond to its customers’ needs for shorter lead times and/or handle short-term surges in demand without sacrificing quality. This high-performance welding robot is versatile, shifting between multiple welding jobs with ease and speed, aligning with Wesgar’s commitment to the delivery of quality products on time, every time to its clients.
“The TruArc Weld 1000 is a non-traditional collaborative robot that is well suited to Wesgar’s high-mix, low volume specialty,” says Nash Kassam, President of Wesgar. “Now that it is fully operational, it works alongside our human welders to form a cohesive and highly efficient team. In addition, the new technology allows Wesgar to handle demand variability more effectively, enabling us to respond to expedites and prototypes without jeopardizing our delivery commitments for orders currently in production.”
The addition of this high-functioning equipment is further proof of Wesgar’s commitment to leverage leading-edge technology to help satisfy the multi-faceted demands of its customers.
