Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision weld metal parts using MIG or TIG welding machines and techniques
  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment set up and operate Welding Machines correctly, identify machine issues and either fix or report them
  • Operate equipment safely according to their intended use
  • Handle incoming and outgoing parts safely and with care to avoid damage or injury.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding, brazing and soldering equipment
  • May adjust welding heads and tooling according to work specifications

Qualifications and experience:

  • Good Mechanical Blueprint reading skills
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • A positive attitude and self motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Punctual and reliable
  • High school
  • 1 year’s experience in metal fabrication industry
  • Need to have the particular PPE (mandatory)

LOCATION

Key Responsibilities

  • Dress metal parts and remove surface imperfections
  • Using pneumatic air tools for extended periods of time in a standing position to prepare various metal part for cosmetic paint finishes by body working
  • Grinding and sanding to the desired finish class required by each customer
  • Set up and operate dressing equipment and tools correctly, identify issues and fix or report them.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Operate equipment safety according to their intended use.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing parts safety and with care to avoid damage or injury.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A positive attitude and self motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Body work experience with cosmetic grinding is an asset.
  • Must be able to work with power tools, angle grinders, sander drills.
  • Good eye hand coordination
  • Able to stand for extended period

Experience:

  • Over a year of experience in metal fabrication and cosmetic grinding.

An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking an experienced Machine Shop Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise a team of CNC and Manual Machinists, plan and coordinate the weekly work, estimate and deliver customer orders as per requirements, on time, and within the budget

Set up and operate the CNC and Manual machines and equipment to fabricate metals, and other high-technology materials

Perform the more complex machining operations, including working with and programming computerized equipment

Design prototype instruments, and utilize a wider variety of materials with varying capabilities

Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and related equipment, some of which are computerized, often working within a tolerance of .001 inch.

Fabricate jigs and fixtures

Work with the engineering team to develop methods and work construction for new products

Communicate quality issues to team members

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

Able to routinely operate lathes, milling machines, and drill presses, cutting, including computerized equipment

Highly skilled in the operation of CNC machines & interpreting shop drawings

Extremely organized, adopt safe, and tidy working habits and with a high level of workmanship

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and with minimal supervision

Strong leadership and management skills, make sound decisions, and excellent judgment

Sound knowledge of the industry standard machine shop practices

Ability to analyze and solve problems, and implement efficient process improvements

Adept at managing the department’s overall workload, resources, and materials

Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language

Experience/Qualifications:

At least 6 years experience as a senior machinist in the same industry

Proven experience in managing a machine shop in the precision sheet metal industry is essential

  • Oversee the creation of compelling, SEO-optimized content for various platforms, including web pages, blogs, social media, case studies, and technical documentation.
  • Plan, create, and manage email campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and support marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to produce thought leadership content that showcases our expertise and differentiates our services.
  • Manage social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize content for search engines, improve organic reach, and refine strategies based on campaign performance.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Wesgar’s brand voice, style guidelines, and industry standards while meeting deadlines and approval processes.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 8+ years in content strategy, writing, or marketing, preferably in B2B.
  • Proven success in creating and executing content strategies.
  • Familiar with SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Comfortable with basic photo editing and brochure/layout development
  • Experienced in managing social media accounts and content.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficient in CMS platforms like WordPress.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Skilled in analyzing campaign data.
  • Effective collaborator and relationship manager.

Education:
