Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision weld metal parts using MIG or TIG welding machines and techniques
  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment set up and operate Welding Machines correctly, identify machine issues and either fix or report them
  • Operate equipment safely according to their intended use
  • Handle incoming and outgoing parts safely and with care to avoid damage or injury.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding, brazing and soldering equipment
  • May adjust welding heads and tooling according to work specifications

Qualifications and experience:

  • Good Mechanical Blueprint reading skills
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • A positive attitude and self motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Punctual and reliable
  • High school
  • 1 year’s experience in metal fabrication industry
  • Need to have the particular PPE (mandatory)

LOCATION

Key Responsibilities

  • Dress metal parts and remove surface imperfections
  • Using pneumatic air tools for extended periods of time in a standing position to prepare various metal part for cosmetic paint finishes by body working
  • Grinding and sanding to the desired finish class required by each customer
  • Set up and operate dressing equipment and tools correctly, identify issues and fix or report them.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Operate equipment safety according to their intended use.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing parts safety and with care to avoid damage or injury.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A positive attitude and self motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Body work experience with cosmetic grinding is an asset.
  • Must be able to work with power tools, angle grinders, sander drills.
  • Good eye hand coordination
  • Able to stand for extended period

Experience:

  • Over a year of experience in metal fabrication and cosmetic grinding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Wesgar’s business objectives, target audiences, and marketing goals.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling, SEO-optimized content for various platforms, including web pages, blogs, social media, case studies, and technical documentation.
  • Plan, create, and manage email campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and support marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to produce thought leadership content that showcases our expertise and differentiates our services.
  • Manage social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • ERP Utilization
  • Leverage ERP systems to manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain clear visibility of inventory data.
  • Collaborate closely with production, finance, and logistics to ensure alignment on order status, lead times, and material availability.
  • Timely Procurement & Follow-Up
  • Place orders to meet short lead times and expedite deliveries when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration

  • Prepare employment letters and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Manage internal HR communications, including memos and announcements.
  • Coordinate with staffing agencies for temporary workforce needs.
  • Handle uniform requests and cancellations with service providers.

Onboarding & Employee Integration

  • Draft and send job offer letters to selected candidates.
  • Organize and conduct first-day orientation, including HR presentations and plant tours.
  • Ensure completion and proper filing of new hire paperwork.
  • Set up new employees in company systems such as Epicor, MS Office Suite, and Payworks.

Benefits Administration

  • Monitor employee benefits eligibility and process enrollments and terminations.

  • Maintain records of provincial coverage for foreign workers.
  • Track and follow up on expiring work permits.

Disability & Leave Management

  • Serve as the point of contact for employees on disability leave.

  • Make necessary labour corrections in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Qualifications

LOCATION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform first article inspection and final inspections – Some in-process inspections as required
  • Measure the dimensions and features of manufactured sheet metal parts to ensure conformance to customer drawings
  • Use of measuring equipment
  • Identify quality issues and have them corrected by the appropriate work center
  • Complete quality reports, data entry and other work center documentation

 

Skills:

  • Able to correctly and accurately: measure parts using dial and digital calipers, measure angles using manual and digital protractors, use height gauges, tape measures and squares
  • Very good written communication – send reports & information to internal customers
  • Very good verbal communication – able to communicate effectively with internal customers
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with measuring equipment is required
  • Blueprint reading is required
  • Good understanding of Windows-based computer systems
  • Able to work without supervision and also as part of our inspection team
  • Good time management, reliable and proactive
  • Must be able to work either day & afternoon shift based on company’s needs
