Wesgar’s continued growth, serving clients in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest, has precipitated yet another expansion of its warehouse facilities in its Port Coquitlam plant. The four-acre manufacturing campus, nestled in Port Coquitlam’s industrial estate, is home to state-of-the-art sheet metal, machining, and copper bus bar fabrication robots and equipment valued at over $35M. Over 225 professional staff produce hi-mix, low-volume products for leading organizations including Alpha Technologies, Rockwell Automation, Ballard Power, Kodak, and Telus.
“Wesgar’s recent business growth aligns with our plan to stay at the forefront in our industry by offering hi-mix, low-volume expertise coupled with innovative problem-solving techniques to combat supply chain management problems,” says Nash Kassam, President of Wesgar. “This latest warehouse expansion allows us to offer our clients more flexibility in managing spikes and responding to varying demands. It’s a unique service for our clients’ value in these uncertain times.”
Wesgar will be celebrating 65 years in business in the coming years and is proud of its progress. This recent expansion is part of a master plan to increase capacity and efficiency to better serve its clients’ needs far into the future.
