Wesgar is pleased to announce the addition of a Haas VF-9 large-frame vertical CNC machining center with 84” travel and a second Haas VF-3 vertical CNC machining center to its in-house machining department. This is in response to increased customer demand for first-class machining and Wesgar’s commitment to providing full-service custom sheet metal and machining fabrication services on its four-acre Port Coquitlam plant.
“Wesgar prides itself on staying ahead of its capacity requirements by adding new technologies to guarantee that our clients get the highest quality goods at affordable prices and in the shortest time possible,” says Nash Kassam, President of Wesgar. “Several years ago, we made a commitment to remain a one-stop-shop, and this required building our own machine shop. Today, our machining department accounts for 15% of our total production volume and operates three shifts each day, five days a week.”
By expanding its machining department’s capacity and capabilities, Wesgar follows through on its promise to customers to deliver high-volume, low-mix custom sheet metal, machining, and copper bus bar fabrication in a timely, cost-effective manner.
